Team Results
11/13/2012 Diman 41, Tri-County 6 - This one was over before the Diman Regional offense even snapped the ball.

Back-to-back kickoff touchdown returns by Diman sophomore running back Austin St. Pierre and senior wide receiver Wes Lemar early on in the first quarter ultimately proved to be too much for Mayflower League rival Tri-County Voc-Tech to overcome as the Bengals took home a convincing 41-6 football victory on Friday night. Story continues.
11/2/2012 Diman 21, Southeastern 16 - Winless in its last two games and with only a pair remaining on the regular season schedule, the Diman Regional football team really needed this one.

Clutch play by sophomore quarterback Austin Crowninshield made that possible as his 16-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Japheth Richards at 7:01 of the fourth quarter proved to be the ultimate difference-maker as it propelled the Bengals to a gutsy 21-16 Mayflower League victory over Southeastern Voc-Tech on Friday night. Story continues.
10/19/2012 Bristol-Plymouth 14, Diman 7 - Self destruction or gritty victory?

Ten penalties, including a key holding one on the final drive that wiped away the potential game-tying score, and four turnovers spelled doom for the visiting Diman Bengals, who dropped a 14-7 decision to Bristol-Plymouth on Friday in a light, but steady, rain. Story continues.
9/26/2012 Diman 21, West Bridgewater 19 - Grit and tenacity are prerequisites if you want to play with the perennially undermanned West Bridgewater High football team.

That was never more evident than Saturday morning, when the Wildcats — dressing a total of 22 players — stubbornly refused to concede despite a dominant ground game that allowed their opponents to hold onto the football for 70 percent of the game. Story continues.
9/14/2012
9/8/2012 Case 24, Diman 0 - The Case Cardinals showed they are a lot more than just Taylor Furtado.

The Cards scored 16 first-half points and added another score late in the game, while their stubborn defense kept the visiting Diman Bengals off the board in Saturday afternoon’s 24-0 non-league football victory. Story continues.

Two Bengals named All-Scholastics
Congratulations to Cory Albernaz and Bryan Yun for earning Herald News Football All-Scholastics honors and Austin Campos for earning an honorable mention.

Profiles:
Bryan Yun (Diman): Yun was the Bengals’ biggest offensive threat from his wide receiver position. A converted quarterback, Yun used his size and speed, combined with great hands, to give the Diman Bengals arguably one of the best receivers in the area.

Cory Albernaz (Diman): A two-way starter for the last three seasons, Albernaz is best known for his effective work at running back, where he excelled at blocking as well as rushing. On defense he helped at both inside and outside linebacker, playing where he was most needed.
